AMA International Collegiate Conference 

 

The AMA International Collegiate Conference is one of the best investments students can make as an aspiring marketers, which is scheduled for March 17-19, 2016. We will be able to take our marketing to the next level next year, while joining over 1,500 marketers in New Orleans for professional development, cutting edge career advice, case competitions with REAL employers, networking opportunities and keynote speakers.

3- Day Itinerary:

 

Thursday, March 17th

 

We will continue with our AMAzing competitions– Case, SABRE, Exhibit, T-shirt competition and Social Scramble and T-shirt exchange in the afternoon. Then at 7pm, we’ll kick off the conference with our fun-filled, high energy opening session featuring the Parade of Chapters and our keynote speaker, Peter Horst, Chief Marketing Officer for Hershey. After the opening ceremony the Exhibit hall is opened for chapters to showcase their chapter’s creativity and hard work throughout the year.

Friday, March 18th

 

We will begin the day with our College2Career Advice Panel of career experts, followed by our Experience Speaks program featuring industry professionals sharing their knowledge with our members. We’ll break around noon to have lunch and recruit at our expanded career fair. Following up with chapter leadership sessions and a special event for our attendees, before we get to our competitions ceremony keynote, Monica Skipper of FedEx Services, who will inspire you as you begin to launch your own careers before we give out some awards – including the winning case entry! Also going on throughout the day will be our marketing strategy competition, also our Sales competition and Perfect Pitch competition. It’s going to be a jam packed day!

Saturday, March 19th

 

We kick off with more incredible Experience Speaks professionals, a the finals for the Sales and Marketing Strategy competitions. We’ll follow up with the winning Case presentation, a new team Simulation competition (to be announced) and the redesigned Sales Certificate Program to make it more educational and interactive for our attendees. We will conclude the day (and the conference) with our awards buffet banquet – celebrating YOU! Who will become the next International Collegiate Chapter of the Year or our first Small Chapter of the Year? Maybe it will be your chapter! Work hard and great ready to learn and celebrate at the next International Collegiate Conference.
